While Joe was working for a local Design Build contractor, he provided Structural Engineering and Project/Construction Management for construction of this large facility. The project included, tilt-up concrete walls, pre cast concrete slabs, structural steel floor and roof, as well as insulated wall panels and special in-slab heating for the freezer floor. unique designs were required due to food manufacturing requirements. |  |

| Pitt Meadows Yates, Pitt Meadows, B.C. while Joe McGovern was working for a Design Build Contractor, he provided Structural Engineering and Project/Construction duties for the construction of a Tilt-up concrete manufactured building that was used for manufacturing moulds for plastic injection machines, and plastic injection manufacture. Unique items included using "Wick type" sub-soil preparation to accelerate pre-construction pre load settlements and a special fire wall required between the two tenants. | |
